Almost half of us can’t figure out what a phishing email looks like: Survey

A survey, conducted by a company that provides VPNs, has found most internet users lack basic online security.

NordVPN says while most people *say* they can recognise a phishing email, about 45 per cent of ya’ll open and click anyway.

Then, social media people are still posting vacation photos, showing the crims you’re not home!

About one third of respondents thought using public Wi-Fi is safe (hint: it’s not).

And finally just over half of respondents know an email (from a company they just purchased a product from) confirming their purchase is safe. Not everything is a scam.
